Lou’s Coming Home!

Lou Patroner is planning on returning to Key West next week.  He’s got his Stock Island mechanic readying his old VW, so it seems he hopes to be out and about again, eating and drinking around town with his many friends.

But let’s hold out on too much celebrating.  He’ll need regular clinical visits.  So I suggest we not pile on all at once, and let him get his Key West ‘sea legs’ back in good time.

His daughter and son-in-law have been seeing him, but what got me to get the info for this update was a Letter to the Editor here by a fan who has not even met Lou, but who has loved his writing over the years.  I’ve been writing for a long time, have never received such a heartfelt paean.  Well, Lou deserves it more than the rest of us do.

By the way, this fan did not even include his name.  So this time, neither will I.
