Letter to the Editor / BEWARE FALSE TAX REFORM
By Roger C. Kostmayer
The Republican controlled Congress should be working hard on honest, bipartisan, and long overdue tax reform. This involves open committee hearings, expert testimony and vigorous debate instead of single party manipulations behind closed doors that focus on speed and deception rather than reason and equity.
Sneaking huge tax cuts for the rich through Congress isn’t helpful to the economy, job creation, the national debt or to 99% of Americans. Also, it’s neither helpful nor honest to mislead the public by calling these special interest tax breaks (like eliminating estate & inheritance taxes) “reforms” that benefit the poor and middle class.

Reply to “Beware of Tax Reform” Have you ever stopped to think through what you are saying? Take a guess how many companies which employ and benefit billions of people would never have been created if the government were to take it all away frpm the owners with a death tax?
