“Legally Blonde, Jr.” at Key West Theater

Key West Theater and Key West High School Drama Club present “Legally Blonde, Jr.,” a fun, fast-paced live musical adaptation of the hit film and award-winning Broadway show for all ages on May 4th-6th at the Key West Theater. “Legally Blonde, Jr.” is directed and choreographed by Alexandra Zeto (Hedwig and the Angry InchOklahoma Smith, Silence! The Musical) with a cast made up entirely of Key West High School students. The fabulously fun musical features students Jade Williamson as Elle, Robbie Feldman as Warner, Gannon Fox as Emmet, McKenzie Copper as Vivienne.

“Legally Blonde Jr.” follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle’s high school boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she’s “not serious enough,” Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren’t mutually exclusive. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.

“Legally Blonde Jr.” runs about 70 minutes and people of all ages are welcome to attend. Student tickets are $15, adults $20. Show dates and times are: May 4th, 7pm, May 5th at 2pm and 7pm, and May 6th at 7pm. Tickets are available at thekeywesttheater.com or by calling (305) 985-0433. Key West Theater is located at 512 Eaton Street in Old Town, Key West.
