NEW YORK – A Florida judge will hold a hearing on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 9:00am in a lawsuit against Evenflo, a leading manufacturer of children’s’ car seats.

The lawsuit alleges that Evenflo routinely markets booster seats for children that are not yet big enough to use them, ignoring the safety recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The case revolves around a 5 year-old girl permanently injured because her booster seat could not adequately protect her.
