KNOTS or NOT

Tired of tying up your boat and then taking 5 minutes to untie it?  Or do you come back to your “secured” boat only to see it drifting off shore? Well, here’s our answer. The Key West Power Squadron Knots, Bends, and Hitches seminar is a hands-on:
“learn how to tie knots” program geared to a wide range of audiences.  In 2 hours the practical skills of line throwing, knot tying, rope selection, and other marlinspike seamanship skills will be learned.  Participants will learn how to tie a set of the most useful knots, like the bowline, square knot, cleat hitch, clove hitch and many more. A cleat board and lengths of line will be provided for you to participate during the presentation.
The seminar fee is $30.00 or $40.00 for two sharing materials. The seminar  is held at the Key West Sail and Power Squadron building at 5205 College Road on Stock Island, Saturday, January 20th at 10:00 a.m.
