Keys Concerts by Candlelight presents: Magical Movie Music

Keys Concerts by Candlelight premieres its monthly series of concerts in Key West, FL on Friday March 25, 2022 at 8pm. Magical Movie Music by Candlelight is the second in a “string” of monthly concerts taking place in The Florida Keys this season.

A unique musical experience, The Keys Concerts by Candlelight allows you to enjoy famous works of modern music by the ambience of candlelight in various outdoor locations. The 2022 season of candlelit concerts will feature a series of contemporary music played by a string trio led by Irie Monte.

An Accomplished musician, Monte received a Bachelors in Music Education from New York University in 2012. While at NYU, she performed in various chamber ensembles as well as the New York Repertory Orchestra and studied privately with Setsuko Nagata of the New York Philharmonic.

Since graduating from NYU, Irie has been traveling around the world, teaching, learning and embracing all of life’s  experiences. In 2015, her travels brought her to  Key West where she fell in love with the beautiful island life and community. Here, she met other classically trained musicians and quickly joined the Southernmost Chamber Music Society as a founding member. She leads the string trio for the second Candlelight concert of the season.

Magical Movie Music by Candlelight has a set list that includes musical selections from Star Wars, Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, and many more, played by the accomplished camber music trio of string instruments in the courtyard of Ella’s Cottages, 811 Simonton Street. The Outdoor venue will provide a covid conscious environment for and enjoyable evening of entertainment.

Doors to the event open at 7:30pm. The concert starts promptly at 8pm. Ticket prices range from $35-75 per person and can be purchased online at eventbrite.com or by calling 305.619.2862
