Key West Woman’s Club (KWWC) will host Denim to Diamonds on March 4th

On Saturday, March 4, at 6pm, the Key West Woman’s Club (KWWC) will host Denim to Diamonds.   Enjoy cocktails, scrumptious hors d’oeuvres, decadent desserts, lively music and dancing while you shine in whatever you like from denim to diamonds!  Last year the event sold out! If you’d like to support the continued restoration of the Hellings Curry Museum which is open to the public for free tours, please join us to preserve history.

The Key West Woman’s Club has been a powerful positive force in our community for more than 100 years. In 1915 the club was formed to help women get the right to vote. After we accomplished this mission with clubs across the country we wanted to help with literacy. The KWWC created the first library in the state of Florida and went on to build what is now the public library on Fleming Street. KWWC helped kickstart many organizations across our island including: AIDS Help which has become AH of Monroe County, The Key West Garden Club, and the list goes on and on.

The Key West Woman’s Club currently helps dozens of charities across Monroe County through donations from our restaurant card. We supply dressed teddy bears to our first responders to help children get through traumatic situations. In the spring we host a Baby Time shower for moms who have basic needs for their new infants.

Please join us for the festivities and for your chance to contribute to the historical preservation of both the Hellings Curry Museum and the Key West Woman’s Club mission! Tickets are $150!
