The word “not” was inadvertently left out of the Seventh Commandment when printed. So “Thou shalt not commit adultery” read “Thou shalt commit adultery.”

One thousand copies were printed before the error was discovered. Twenty copies remain in existence today.

I had to work y ass off the second semester to be sure I would pass the State Regents. I worked hard and did pass. Got an 80. I was exhausted and thrilled!

Got my car back and made it to The Grand yesterday. A big day!

I was without wheels for 3 1/2 weeks. Horrible!

Finally made it to The Grand’s Happy hour after missing several weeks. It was like I never left!

Jean Thornton there. Her last day. She returns home to Birmingham today. A love of my life!

Must have been my day. Two lovely women came up to me at different times. One even gave me a kiss. They remembered me from many years past. Made me feel good. Hope I see them again.

Robert took me to get my car. You have no idea how good it feels to drive myself around again. Left The Grand early to get some groceries. The refrigerator was empty again. Spent only $50. Would have been $25 several months ago.

Nurse Paige visited with me at 2. One of the best nurses I have had over the years! I am confident over the next 2 months she will get me walking properly again.
