Key West Lou / BREAD LINES AND BREAD MAKERS

Trump, tomorrow in Georgia and wednesday in Washington. Both days extremely important and interconnected in various ways.

The past several days, the issues involved have precluded other equally important issues from being discussed. Ergo today I open with such an issue: Hunger and the economy.

I will be touching on tomorrow and wednesday in subsequent topics.

Bread lines are stretching across America. A precursor to an economic collapse. The economic collapse in the making much worse than the people are being told.

The country is essentially divided between the hungry and the satiated. Between those who wait patiently in bread lines and those who sit comfortably at home waiting for the meltdown to be over. The economic meltdown.

The economic meltdown will not be over in the foreseeable future.

Those yet comfortable at home have begun to feel the economic pinch. A husband out of work, certain bills that cannot be met, etc. Their savings nearly gone. Not candidates for the bread line at the moment. However, they know it is the next step in their lives.

Those at home have and are learning how to cut corners. One is a food staple. Bread. They are learning the joy of baking bread.

Two groups of unequal Americans, with the bread makers soon to join the bread lines.

An ominous picture of today’s America.

Strikingly, the stock market continues to shoot up for the very rich. At the same time, Main Street remains in crisis.

An enormous inequity. Things could get out of hand.

Actually, I suspect things will get out of hand. The majority of U.S. citizens can only get kicked around so long. They want and are entitled to a piece of the pie. Unfortunately, they have already been denied a seat at the table so they could receive their piece of the pie.

Now to Trump’s one hour telephone call yesterday to the Georgia Secretary of State. Trump basically asked Secretary Raffensperger to find a way to give Trump the votes he needs to win Georgia. Fudge the numbers!

Raffensperger refused advising Trump that his (Trump’s) data was wrong.

Trump even indicated Raffensperger could be guilty of a crime if he did not make the changes requested.

The call was attorney represented on both sides and others were also listening in on both sides. The call was taped.

The tape soon found its way into the hands of the media. The whole world has heard and made privy to its contents.

Trump requests/demands could border on extortion and election fraud. Amusing in a sense. Trump who has been “accusing” many of wrongdoing re the election ballots may now be guilty of that with which he has charged others.

A pot calling the kettle black situation.

Sedition comes into play A federal and state crime.

Sedition is conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch. It is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward rebellion against established order.

Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent toward, or rebellion against, established authority.

What Trump has been promoting for several months seems to fit the definition.

The proof is of Trump’s own making. The taped telephone conversation of yesterday, his many utterances at public affairs and on television. Plus his tweets. Must not forget the numerous tweets.

Trump and now those openly supporting his positions should begin becoming a bit uncomfortable. Collars getting tight.

The facts when joined together suggest a coup. A conspiracy to commit sedition?

All of a sudden, the U.S. has become a “fudging” society. The election numbers one example. The other the number of coronavirus deaths.

It is quietly being reported that the CDC has released records showing coronavirus deaths at 440,000. The number for popular consumption is around 350,000.

It appears the number of deaths may have routinely been under reported.

The CDC is under Trump’s control.

Nancy Pelosi was reelected Speaker yesterday by a very thin margin. The important thing is she won. Her experience in these troublesome times is required.

Pelosi should pack it in in 2 years when her new term ends. The three top leaders in the House are in their 80’s. Time for new younger blood.

Tom Brady. An amazing athlete. Forty three years old and still going strong.

Records keep falling when he plays. Yesterday he matched another Peyton Manning record. Interestingly, it was the 3rd or 4th record he broke this season by which he is paid a bonus. The bonus for each $550,000. The bonuses on top of a multi-million dollar contract.

For any athlete to continue playing as if he were significantly younger is a feat in itself. Not accidental. He has to physically work out every day, practice with a football in hand most days, watch his diet, live the good life.

He deserves everything he gets recognition and money wise. He earns both every day.

Enjoy your day!
