Author Elizabeth Meade Howard will discuss her nonfiction book, “Aging Famously: Follow Those You Admire to Living Long and Well,” at 6pm, Feb. 13 at the Key West Library, 700 Fleming St.

In “Aging Famously,” Howard shares intimate interviews with her inspiring role models. She offers readers helpful tactics and lasting legacies of creative people in their 70s, 80s and beyond who continued to take risks and contribute their talents. Some of the interviewees include famous Key Westers like poets Richard Wilbur and Eleanor Taylor, community benefactors Sol and Barbara Jacobson, writers Laurent de Brunhoff and Alma Bond, artist Suzie dePoo and saloon keeper Captain Tony Tarricino.
