Key West Ladies Golf Association awards scholarship to Key West High School golfer

Key West, Florida Keys – Each year the Key West Ladies Golf Association honors a Key West High School golfer with a monetary scholarship.  Savannah Oropeza is this year’s recipient accepting an $850 check.  Savannah began playing golf with the Lady Conchs as a freshman and will graduate this June.  She thanks Justin Smoot, her coach and mentor, for much of her golf success and has already had a hole-in-one at the Key West Golf Club on hole #16.  She plans to attend the University of Florida as a pre-med student after graduation.
