Key West Community Sailing Center Presents / SAIL WITHOUT WORRY

Key West, FL – March 22, 2019 – Key West Community Sailing Center will host a talk on ‘Sail Without Worry: Better Seamanship Through Safety’ at its Friday Evening Social on April 5th. Presenters are David Brockbank, Finn racer in US and international competitions and Carlos Rojas, long-time sailor and rear commodore at Community Sailing.

David and Carlos will discuss how confidence inspires sailors to perform and excel at their craft. Being well prepared and knowing what to do under adverse conditions will be the focus. Learn how to enjoy your sailing time even more without stress and worry. David says “we expect to have a lively debate and harrowing stories of the sea will add color and keep listeners on the edge of their seats”.

Social, potluck and talk are free and open to the public so bring friends, family and sailing buddies. The Social begins at 6pm and the talk at 6:30. Please join us at the Key West Community Sailing Center, 705 Palm Ave. For information contact KWCSC at 305 292-5993 or keywestsailingcenter.org.
