Intern Natalie Arguello: Idle Hands Summer Youth Employment Program students are making their mark
Natalie Arguello, 16, is a participant in the 2022 A Positive Step of Monroe County “Idle Hands Summer Youth Employment Program,” and has been working as an intern with KWPD Property and Evidence Supervisor Megan Wilcox this summer. Natalie, whose uncle is KWPD officer Victor Arguello, starts her junior year at Key West High School this year and says that after high school her plan is to join the military while also attending college.
A Positive Step of Monroe County, founded by Billy Davis in 1999 to serve some of Monroe County’s highest risk kids and their families, partners with the City of Key West each year to provide stimulating summer employment for motivated Key West High School students. Those interested in supporting and learning more about the program can visit www.apsmc.org/take-action.
