Impromptu Concerts Presents Ensemble Schumann Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 4 pm

The third concert of Key West Impromptu Classical Concerts’ 52nd anniversary season will feature the Ensemble Schumann.

A dazzling, colorful trio of soloists, the members of Ensemble Schumann:  Thomas Gallant, Oboe, Steve Larson, Viola, and Sally Pinkas, Piano, present works by their name-sake Robert Schumann, as well as by Brahms, Saint-Saëns, Loeffler, Poulenc, Shostakovich and others.

Praised by Fanfare Magazine, “the trio makes some of the most blissful sounds this side of nirvana. Truly, this is exquisite music, exquisitely played, and exquisitely recorded, and it’s definitely recommended to all.”

The February 4th program will feature works from Arthur Foote, Ludwig van Beethoven, Michael White, and Max Bruch.

The concert takes place at 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 4th at St. Paul’s Church at 401 Duval St.  Admission is $20 at the door. Students are admitted free.
