We live on an Island and little by little our coastline is being fenced off because of the few who can’t comply with Social Distancing. How about trying to open our waterfront and employ people or reassign City workers as Monitors to educate and remind people about Social Distancing. Rather than close White Street Pier how about hire a Monitor to remind people of their responsibilities to each other.
The fitness trail stations at Higgs park, which have metal bars for various exercises, are potential virus transfer points.
On an evening stroll two nights ago saw approx. 12-15 people, wearing no gloves or protective gear, and in close proximity to each other, were using these features one-after-another.
