Heroin, cash found after traffic stop

Alexis Joy Sather was charged with heroin distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputy Corbin Hradecky stopped Sather on U.S. 1 in Marathon after observing the vehicle window tint to be too dark.

A U.S. Border Patrol K9 Unit arrived to assist and alerted to drugs in the car.

The following were found inside the car:

  • 3.7 grams of heroin
  • $1,239 in cash
  • A digital scale
  • Multiple baggies
  • Assorted razor blades and straws containing heroin residue

Sather was taken to jail.
