HEALTH DEPARTMENT COMMENDS PIER HOUSE RESORT AND SPA FOR SMOKE FREE EVENT

Monroe County, Fla.— The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County recognizes the Pier House Resort and Spa for designating a recent event at their property as tobacco free and for setting an example to other businesses.  The event, Pier House Goes Pink, took place on October 16 at the resort. The breast cancer awareness event showcased a breast cancer survivor fashion show and benefits underinsured and underinsured locals.
