Happy New Year Home Tours Place Health & Safety First

Old Island Restoration Foundation is keeping the welcoming tradition of the Key West Home Tours going this season for the 61st consecutive year.  The Key West Home Tours and all activities produced by Old Island Restoration Foundation and its Oldest House Museum & Gardens follow all CDC Covid-19 Safety Guidelines.

The tours will be conducted very differently this year.  One masked tour guide will lead one masked small group through the homes at reserved times and provide the narration.

The January tours will be the 15th & 16th 2021 at 1 pm and 3 pm each day.  They will feature three private homes and the Oldest House Museum & Gardens, 322 Duval Street, where all tour-goers must check-in 15 minutes before their purchased tour time.

The Tours are the organization’s largest fundraising event.  Proceeds fund the preservation and promotion of Key West architecture and cultural heritage in addition to the ongoing restoration of Key West’s Oldest House Museum & Gardens.

The two-day, monthly tours will run with different private homes again in February and March.  The number of visitors allowed inside each home will be limited and tour times spaced.  Masks and distancing will be required and hand sanitizers will be provided.  All CDC pandemic safety guidelines will be enforced to protect the health of all participants, volunteers and staff.

Additional Key West Home Tour dates:  Feb & Mar 12 & 13, 2021
