Grant Applications Now Available for 2017 Funding From the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys

The Community Foundation of the Florida Keys (CFFK) is now accepting applications for its 2017 Grant Program to support innovative projects serving residents and visitors throughout the Florida Keys. The Community Foundation will award up to $120,000 total in two grant rounds this year in areas including healthcare, environment, the arts, and more. Application forms are available at www.cffk.org.

The first round application deadline is March 15th for projects in the areas of Health and Human Services, Environment, Recreation, and Animal Welfare. CFFK’s Grants Committee will review applications and award grants up to $10,000 each for projects serving Monroe County residents.

All applicants must be a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization. Priority will be given to new programs or projects and those serving new audiences and underserved populations. Grants will be awarded based on innovation, community impact, and collaboration.

All applications must be submitted using the online application form, available at www.cffk.org. Applications will not be complete until the Grant Application is finalized and Accompanying Materials are received on or before the deadline.

The second round application deadline is May 15th for projects in the area of Arts and Culture. Nonprofit organizations of all types may submit one application in each round provided the program or project relates to that area.
