On Sunday, Feb. 19, and Monday, Feb. 20, the acclaimed long running stage production ‘Give ‘Em Hell, Harry!’ returns to Key West, Florida.

A dynamic one-man-show that celebrates the unique persona and presidency of 33rd U.S. President Harry S. Truman, ‘Give ‘Em Hell, Harry!’ was written by Samuel Gallu and made its debut in 1975 at Washington D.C.’s Ford’s Theatre.
What makes this particular production of ‘Give ‘Em Hell Harry!’ notably compelling is that it stars President Truman’s own grandson, Clifton Truman Daniel, and will be staged on the grounds of the Key West Harry S. Truman Little White House, where President Truman spent 11 working vacations from 1945-53.
Truman Daniel, a professional actor with more than a dozen stage and TV credits, has starred in the production since 2017, but only performed it in Key West for the first time in 2022, where tickets to both a scheduled performance and an on-demand encore performance quickly sold out.
In addition to his acting career, Truman Daniel has worked as a news writer, news editor, and publicist. He is author of the books, ‘Growing Up With My Grandfather: Memories of Harry S. Truman,’ and ‘Dear Harry, Love Bess: Bess Truman’s Letters to Harry Truman, 1919-1943.’ He is a Fellow of ‘Hibakusha Stories,’ a United Nations non-governmental organization that works to bring attention to Japan’s ‘Hibakusha’ – bomb-affected-people, their stories as 1945 Hiroshima bombing survivors and the goal of a nuclear weapons-free world, and is a founding member and Vice President of the Society of Presidential Descendants, a recently formed membership organization for individuals with direct lineage to one or more of the forty-six United States Presidents.
With both the Feb. 19 and Feb. 20 performances set for 5:00pm, “Give ‘Em Hell, Harry!” is one of multiple 2023 “Presidential Families Weekend and Forum,” events set to take place on the grounds of the Harry S. Truman Little White House, 111 Front Street, from February 18-20. The “Presidential Families Weekend and Forum” is presented with the support of the Monroe County Tourist Development Council.
