Gina Kent to Speak About Keys Birds
The Florida Keys Audubon Society’s speaker series will continue on Wednesday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Key West Garden Club, 1100 Atlantic Boulevard.
The speaker will be Gina Kent, who is the research ecologist and coordinator at Avian Research and Conservation Institute. Kent has been tromping through swamps and climbing high tress all over Florida for most of her career. She has managed many projects in the Keys, including studies on White-crowned Pigeons, Reddish Egrets and Magnificent Frigatebirds.
Admissions is free and open to anyone who is interested.
