Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority Announces Drop Saver Poster Winners

Florida Keys – May 25, 2016 – FKAA is proud to recognize the achievements of our Monroe County students who participated in the American Water Works Association 2016 Drop Savers Poster Contest. The annual contest is open to students in Monroe County and promotes water conservation education and awareness.

School Division winners were chosen from hundreds of entries by teams of FKAA staff judges, and from them, FKAA Executive Director Kirk Zuelch chose the five Division Winners who would represent Monroe County at the State level. Posters were judged based on the message, creativity, and originality of their posters; not just artistic ability. Division winners at the School, County, and State level won individual and classroom monetary awards as well as a host of other prizes.
