“Flight to Life” film by John Cunningham and Zoltan Boros starring David Wegman and Zolina Sundeep Boros premieres at Key West Film Festival on Friday

Key West filmmakers, John Cunningham of Greene Street Entertainment, and Zoltan Boros of Zoltan Productions’ new short film, “Flight to Life,” will premiere at the Key West Film Festival’s Florida Shorts category, which will air at Williams Hall located at 729 Fleming Street, at 8:30 on November 19th.

Flight to Life stars Key West resident’s, David Wegman, the internationally renowned artist and sailor, and eight year old, Zolina Sundeep Boros, student at the Sigsbee School.

The synopsis for the film is: A young girl rows to a deserted island, miles from anywhere. She’s alone, scared, tired of the death that permeates our world. A Shaman awaits, his intentions mystical. Oppressors hunt them, determined to prevent a promise for hope.

Cunningham is the author of the nine book, Buck Reilly Adventure series, set in Key West and throughout the Caribbean, as well as the historical fiction, “The Last Raft,” which imagines an alternative ending to the longstanding embargo against Cuba. Zoltan is a longtime Key West Filmmaker. Cunningham and Boros previously collaborated on Little Town Blues, which appeared in the 2019 Key West Film Festival.
