FKAA Restores Water Throughout the Keys

After eleven long days of working dawn to dusk and beyond, the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority crews and their 18 contracted crews have restored water service throughout the entire Keys.  Hurricane Irma created a total loss of pressure throughout the water system on September 10th.  A significant amount of water services had been compromised by uprooted trees and structures causing the water mains to be unable to retain pressure.  We thank everyone that has been involved in the recovery process for their support and assistance.  Boil water advisories remain in place in certain areas of the Keys.
