First State Bank Congratulates Wilson and Hamilton on Promotions

First State Bank of the Florida Keys congratulates Joy Wilson on her promotion to Assistant Vice President, Residential Loan Officer, and Peggy Hamilton on her promotion to Assistant Vice President, Corporate Administration Officer.

Wilson joined First State Bank in 2014 with over thirty years of banking and lending experience in the Middle Keys community.

“Joy works diligently to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers and realtors,” said Jeff Smith, Senior Vice President/Senior Lender.  “Her dedication to exceeding customer expectations is a reflection of her commitment to the Keys community.”

Hamilton joined First State Bank in 2002 as the Operations Administrative Assistant in the Boulevard Office.  She was promoted to Executive Administrative Assistant in the Executive Office later that year, to Executive Assistant to the President in 2006, and to Corporate Administrative Officer in 2014.

“Peggy meets and exceeds the changing demands of the President, Board Members, and Executive Management,” said Karen Sharp, President and CEO.  “She is instrumental in ensuring that the Bank continues to move forward and is relevant, and can be counted on to make valuable contributions toward whatever she’s asked to do.”
