Duval Street Fire Under Control

 Key West firefighters have contained a structure fire at 717 Duval Street. The call came in at 2:06 this afternoon, and the building was fully engulfed. Key West Fire and Rescue responded, and contained the fire within the hour.

Preliminary reports from the scene show no injuries. One firefighter has been transported to Lower Keys Medical Center as a precautionary measure for smoke inhalation.

The State Fire Marshal has been notified, and will be investigating the cause of the fire.
