As a Conch from Key West, Dr. Ryan Barnett returned to his hometown after medical school to open his practice and raise a family. As a healthcare professional he has been working to change the narrative on how we view COVID19. Dr. Barnett believes it is critically important that we stop motivating our citizens from fear and instead begin to teach and inspire our citizens on how to deal with COVID19 as part of our community.

Dr. Ryan Barnett owns and operates a small business in Key West, FL, and believes that small businesses are the backbone of our economy. Barnett plans to focus time and resources into our small business owners as we start to open back up.

An additional and on-going priority is workforce housing. Dr. Ryan Barnett believes it’s vital that our nurses, teachers, and our policeman are able to work where they live, and also live where they work. It is also important to Dr.

Barnett to promote responsible cruise ship management for both our environment and small businesses.
