Dolphin Research Center to Welcome Wounded Warriors for Dolphin Swim

Grassy Key…On Sunday, January 9th, Dolphin Research Center (DRC) will welcome upwards of 40 military veterans from Wounded Warrior Project’s annual Soldier Ride to enjoy a Dolphin Encounter dolphin swim free of charge during the annual Charles Evans Day for the Wounded Warrior Project.  The group, along with caregivers and Wounded Warrior Project staff,  is expected to arrive at DRC at 9 a.m. Members of the public are invited to come earlier and join DRC staff and volunteers at 8:30 a.m. as they line up to give a heroes’ welcome to the participants. Admission to DRC is free for current members. Other visitors may pay general admission or become members with their donations when they get to DRC. The event is featured as Charles Evans Day for Wounded Warrior Project.  Dolphin Research Center is located at 58901 Overseas Highway, mile marker 59, on Grassy Key. www.dolphins.org.
