“Debbie Mucarsel Powell to join March For Our Lives Key West ”
Key West – Democratic candidate for congress in District 26, Debbie Mucarsel Powell will be joining the “March For Our Lives” gathering down Duval street this Saturday and speaking at the rally afterwards. The event is set for 12 p.m. at the 1400 block of Duval with a route that extends from South Beach to Mallory Square.
Our District begins just South from Parkland, Florida, where a shooter killed 17 students and faculty members at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th. Gun violence for Debbie is a very personal story because her father was shot and killed in Ecuador. Her strong commitment to pass common-sense gun reform can be seen her a recent video she released sharing her very painful experience.
