DEADLINE NOVEMBER 15 FOR ARTISTS’ APPLICATIONS TO ANNE MCKEE ARTIST’S FUND AUCTION

 The Anne McKee Artists’ Fund of the Florida Keys, Inc. announces a final Call to Artists for the 2020 Fine Art Auction.  The Art Auction will be held Wednesday, February 12, at The Studios of Key West.

The submission period for artwork closes on November 15^th.  Online applications and accompanying photo(s) can be submitted from our website at www.mckeefund.org. Artists will be notified of acceptance no later than December 1^st.  Fifty entries will be chosen from submitted applications.

The annual art auction raises money for project-based grants to Keys visual, literary and performing artists.  Artwork categories include original paintings, sculpture, photography, fiber art, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry and more.

Artists receive 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale of work, with the remainder applied to Anne McKee Artists fund for awards to Keys artists for projects.  Founded by longtime Key West resident Anne McKee, the not-for-profit fund has awarded more than $280,000 since 1994.
