Data Resources for Positive COVID-19 Cases

(Monroe County, Fla.) –  In an effort to increase awareness of available data at the county level regarding positive COVID-19 cases, the following are two publicly available resources, one updated weekly and the other updated daily:

Florida Department of Health:  Positive COVID-19 cases can be found every Friday afternoon at floridahealthcovid19.gov.

CDC: COVID-19 data can be found at: covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker.

Select “Florida” and then “Monroe County.”  This is updated every day at 8pm.  Data includes level of community transmission, cases, vaccinations, deaths, hospital utilization, and more.

In Monroe County, positive COVID-19 cases are significantly increasing.  Proper mitigation measures, such as handwashing, social distancing, and masks are critical to prevent infection, hospitalization, and death.
