Dan Horton Endorsed by Florida Young Democrats
Homestead, Fla. – The Florida Young Democrats announce the endorsement of Dan Horton in the Democratic primary race for the State House of Representatives in District 120.
Dan Horton is a leader in his community and an example for young Democrats throughout Florida. At just 31 years old, he was president of FIU College of Law student body, a graduate of the Leadership Miami program, and named the Most Valuable Graduate by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. He also works closely with a number of nonprofit organizations including Chapman Partnership where helps recently homeless families from Homestead get back onto their feet.
Horton is a true progressive who wants to go to Tallahassee to fight to preserve our water and natural resources, get big money out of politics, and ensure equality for all.
“Dan Horton is the leader that Democrats need in House 120. He is smart, dynamic and cares about people,” says FYD President Ricky Nettina. “The Young Democrats are here to promote the next generation of Democrats in the state.
