The Florida Keys Council of the Arts is proud to announce the upcoming show: “Creative After All These Years”, an exhibition of Key West Artists, guest curated by Teresa Willis. An opening reception on Friday, February 7th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Historic Gato Building is open to the public. This collective exhibition represents the artwork of seven women artists who have called Key West home for a long time, providing each other with inspiration, direction, and support.
Artists include Ann Irvine, Poochie Myers, Lynne Fischer, Susan Sturtevant, Letty Nowak, Sonia Robinson, and Teresa Willis. Join us to meet the artists, enjoy some refreshments, and catch up with friends. Free parking is available. The passion for creating art is the underlying current of the show.
The exhibit is part of the Arts Council’s Art in Public Buildings program, designed to offer an opportunity for artists to exhibit their work beyond a traditional gallery space and enhance the environment of those who work and visit the Gato Building.
This exhibit was sponsored in part by the Florida Keys Council of the Arts, the State of Florida: Division of Cultural Affairs, as well as other supporters. For more information, please call the Arts Council at 305-295-4369 or email [email protected]
