County Offices South of Craig Key (MM72) Closed to In-Person Services Until At Least 1 PM Tuesday

MONROE COUNTY, FL – Monroe County offices south of Craig Key (MM 72) will be closed to in-person services until 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Offices will reopen at 1 p.m. if the National Hurricane Center has lifted the tropical storm warning at the 11 a.m. advisory. If the tropical storm warning is not lifted by the 11 a.m. advisory, offices will reopen for normal business hours on Wednesday. County services north of Craig Key and the National Hurricane Center tropical storm warning and watch will remain open for normal business on Tuesday. Monroe County staff south of Craig Key will be working from home or will be on call on Tuesday.

“It is important for us to follow the advisories of the National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service in Key West,” said Monroe County Administrator Roman Gastesi. “We must keep people off the roads during the storm, not just our employees, but those who want to use our services as well.”
