Community Health screening at Lower Keys Medical Center

Key West, FL – June 7, 2021 – Lower Keys Medical Center, in collaboration with the City of Key West Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Florida Keys Area Health Education Center (AHEC), is offering free health screenings and education on June 28, 2021. The Rise and Shine: Community Health Screening will be held outside at the main hospital campus at 5900 College Road, Stock Island, from 7 am – 9 am. Blood pressure checks, glucose screening, nutrition education, stroke and early heart attack care, hands-only CPR education, and smoking cessation information will be offered.

Participants will be registered in advance by emailing Education@LKMC.com. Social distancing will be maintained.

Lower Keys Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, and is accredited by the American College of Cardiology as a Chest Pain Center, and by the American Heart Association/The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center.
