CLOSURE OF PUBLIC BOAT RAMPS

As the number of Covid-19 cases continue to spike, the City of Key West has followed the lead of Monroe County and other Keys municipalities by closing public boat ramps for the lobster mini season.
Under Emergency Directive 2020-19, effective 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29th and ending 11:59 p.m. Thursday, July 30th, access to all City of Key West boat ramps shall be restricted as follows:

-Simonton Street Beach Boat Ramp shall be closed to the public;

-Garrison Bight City Marina Boat Ramp shall only be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and only to local residents and guests of City of Key West hotels, City of Key West vacation rentals and timeshares; and

-The City of Key West 11th Street and Riviera Boat Ramp shall only be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and only to local residents.
