Clean Out Your Closets for a Good Cause

FLORIDA KEYS – Are your closets overflowing with unused children’s clothes and other items?  Now is the time to clean out your closets and make some extra cash, or donate your items to support a local non-profit!

The Florida Keys Healthy Start Coalition is holding their annual Tot Swap Consignment Sale in Key West, September 19-24.The sale will be located next to the Key West K‑mart and is open to the public.Everyone is welcome to shop.

Items for sale will be gently used children’s clothing size newborn through children’s size 12; nursery furniture; baby equipment and gear; children’s toys, books, DVDs, and games; and maternity clothes. Sale proceeds benefit the Florida Keys Healthy Start Coalition’s programs for pregnant women, babies and children in Monroe County.

SELL YOUR ITEMS: Go to KeysHealthyStart.org and click on Tot Swap at the top right for instructions on how to register as a new or returning consignor and list and price your own items– earning 50-70% of your sold items’ profits.  Consignors will set up their items, already priced and on hangers, on Sunday, September 17. Middle Keys parents interested in consigning or donating should call the Coalition for information on a carpool possibility for drop-off.

DONATE YOUR ITEMS: Donations of clean, gently used items will be gladly accepted through Friday, August 25 at the Florida Keys Healthy Start Coalition Office (Gato Building), 1100 Simonton St – Room 1, Key West, (Monday through Friday, 9 am-4 pm). To donate large items, email FKHSCtotSwap@gmail.com or call the Coalition Office prior to September 1 to make arrangements.
