City of Key West Seeks Public Input on Affordable Housing Regulations as part of the City’s Land Development Regulations Update

Workshop to be held July 28, 2016 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Eco-Discovery Center in Truman Waterfront Park

The City of Key West Planning and Zoning Department will host a public workshop on July 28th at the Eco-Discovery Center in Truman Waterfront Park focusing on updates to the City’s Land Development Regulations (LDR).  The updates are required by State law in order to be consistent with the most recent update to the City’s Comprehensive Plan, which occurred in 2013.

Based on input from previous workshops, the July 28th workshop will focus on the final draft language as it relates to affordable housing development in the city.

The cornerstone of the work of updating the LDR will be the contribution of the general public to the drafting process.  The City encourages all stakeholders and interested persons to participate in this workshop.

The City of Key West Land Development Regulations Update workshop will take place on Thursday, July 28th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eco-Discovery Center in Truman Waterfront Park, 35 East Quay Road in Key West.  For further information call 305-809-3720 or email [email protected].  You may also visit the project information web page at keywest.cgasolutions.com
