Chris Massicotte Files Q1 Finance Report for Chris for Monroe County Commissioner District 3

Chris Massicotte for Monroe County Commissioner District 3 filed its first campaign finance report today. The campaign reported receiving over $38,000 in monetary and in-kind donations while spending about $14,000 during the first two months of the campaign.

“We had approximately 100 contributors to our campaign since we started in February. I’m humbled by the outpouring of support both within Monroe County and friends and family outside of Monroe who share our love of the Florida Keys.” candidate Chris Massicotte said.

“Fundraising is really the only way a campaign can show support and momentum before any votes are cast. And it is clear that our campaign has the momentum as we head into the summer and June qualifying period. I am confident that as Election Day nears, we will have the resources to get our message of accountability, transparency, and reducing property taxes out to voters who have not started to pay attention to local races.” he added.

Chris Massicotte is a former accountant and auditor. He is a seven year resident of Key West and is running as a fiscally conservative Democrat focusing on reining in runaway spending by the county government.
