CHI Signs Agreement to open new Key West Health Center

Miami, Florida – Community Health of South Florida, Inc. (CHI) is proud to announce its agreement with the city of Key West to open a new health center in Key West’s Bahama Village. CHI’s latest project will fulfill its vision of serving Monroe County with a healthcare center in the lower, middle and upper Keys.

CHI and the city of Key West signed the agreement on June 1st, 2020 to open the new health center at 727 Fort Street, Key West, FL 33040. The new facility is slated to open its doors to the community in 2021. It will provide an array of services to the Monroe County community including family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and dental services. The health center will also include behavioral health services as well as pharmacy capabilities.

“Our community is proud to provide quality healthcare options for every one of our residents,” said Teri Johnston, Mayor of the City of Key West. “That is why we are so pleased that CHI has joined us as the new health center provider located in the heart of Bahama Village as we continue to provide healthcare services for all.”

With 11 health centers and 35 school-based health centers, CHI is dedicated to providing exceptional, quality, healthcare services to South Florida residents. Currently, CHI has two health centers in the Keys: the Tavernier Health Center, 91200 Overseas Highway MM 91, Unit 17 Tavernier, FL 33070, and the Marathon Health Center, 2805 Overseas Highway MM 48.5, Marathon, FL 33050.
