CFK holds Dual Enrollment virtual info events 

Monroe County high school students can earn FREE college credit   

KEY WEST, FL, August 4, 2020—The College of the Florida Keys (CFK) is holding a series of virtual events next week for Monroe County high school students and their parents/ guardians to learn more about its Dual Enrollment program. Through Dual Enrollment, high school students can simultaneously earn college and high school credits at no cost to the student. The program provides a head-start to college for students while potentially saving families thousands of dollars. At the virtual events, CFK will discuss the benefits of Dual Enrollment, requirements to participate, and the application process. 

Interested students and parents can sign up for a virtual information event specific to their local high school by visiting the College’s website at FKCC.edu/DE-virtual-events. 

  • Marathon High School on Mon. Aug. 10 at 5:30 p.m. 
  • Coral Shores High School on Tues. Aug. 11 at 5:30 p.m. 
  • Key West High School on Wed. Aug. 12 at 5:30 p.m.
