Business owners honored for Sheriff’s Office charity work

Sheriff Rick Ramsay — on behalf of the Florida Sheriff’s Association on Thursday — honored Mrs. Werner and Mr. Werner, owners of Big Pine Rooster restaurant on Big Pine Key.

Mrs. and Mr. Werner are Platinum Donors to the Florida Sheriff’s Association.

The Florida Sheriffs Association is a non-profit professional organization comprising 67 of Florida’s elected Sheriffs along with thousands of business leaders and citizens throughout the state. Its mission is to enhance law enforcement through educational and charitable purposes within the state.
