“BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB INTRODUCES NEW EXECUTIVE BOARD”
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Keys Area is pleased to announce they held their Annual Dinner last Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Tavern N’ Town restaurant at the Marriott Beachside to introduce their new Executive Board. The event was held privately and each new executive member was sworn in by Nick Trovato. Pictured above from left to right; Christine Trovato, Secretary; Jim Infante, Vice President; and
Bill Archer, President. The Treasurer, John Dick, was not present for the swearing in ceremony. The entire Board is looking forward to a new and productive year for the Clubs in Key West and Big Pine.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Keys Area would like to remind everyone that in their continuing efforts to recover from Hurricane Irma, they were able to waive all fees for children attending the Clubs in Key West and Big Pine until March 31, 2018. This is available for current members and new members who want to join the Clubs. The Key West location will be open on Saturdays starting January 22nd, from 10am to 2pm and will be offering free academic tutoring until noon with Certified teachers. They will also be providing free lunch and many other positive and fun activities. This is a reminder that this trial program as of now will continue until March 31, 2018.
These extended Saturday hours are from an award the clubs received from the very generous Deerbrook Charitable Trust Foundation and are very grateful to all the donors who continue to give so much.
