Body found in water in Key Largo

The body of an adult male was found in nearshore waters at Rowell’s Waterfront Park, 104550 Overseas Highway, Saturday morning.

A caller reported seeing the floating remains at approximately 8 a.m.

Detectives are on scene. The investigation remains ongoing.

Foul play is not expected to be a factor in the incident.

The park remains open to the public.
