Back to School Sunday Social event on August 15th

It’s finally time to party again! The Florida Keys Democrats are pleased to announce the return of in-person events, beginning with its popular “Back to School Sunday Social.” The organization serves all 128 miles of Monroe County and invites all Florida Keys residents to join them on Sunday, August 15th, from 4:30-7:30 at Mangrove Mama’s, MM 20.

The Democrats want to support the United Teachers of Monroe County and are asking guests to bring assorted school supplies, including backpacks, to share with classroom teachers…and receive 5 door prize tickets for their efforts!

A requested donation of $35 includes a picnic buffet, door prizes, a silent auction and music by popular Key West musician Larry Baeder. Cash bar available at this outdoor event and COVID protocols will be in place to protect guests.
