Author Talk at the Library

Acclaimed author Nathan Hill will be discussing his debut novel, “The Nix,” one of the most talked about books of the year, at the Key West Public Library at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 22. Beloved novelist John Irving calls Hill, “a maestro,” and The Washington Post writes, “We’re in the presence of a major new comic novelist.” Meryl Streep and J.J. Abrams are currently adapting “The Nix” for a mini-series with Streep attached to star.  Nathan Hill’s short fiction has appeared in many literary journals, including “The Iowa Review,” and “Fiction,” which awarded him its annual Fiction Prize. A native Iowan, he now lives in Florida.

A book signing will follow the presentation, and copies of “The Nix” will be available for purchase. This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Key West Library and Books & Books at the Studios of Key West. Light The library is located at 700 Fleming St.  For more information, call 305-292-3595.
