Artist Workshops for the Connections Project 2020:  A Mosaic of the Keys We invite YOU to CONNECT!

Join us for the Arts Council’s annual Connections Project. Our Mosaic of the Keys provides 400 free 6 x 6 inch blank canvases for Monroe artists and community members to create their own unique piece of art. We offer free workshops throughout the Keys to assist those that may need guidance and materials. Each workshop is led by a professional local artist and supplies will be provided.

We will collect, assemble and exhibit the 400 canvases as one large mosaic. We travel to seven Keys’ locations and celebrate at each venue with an opening reception. Canvases are due back at the Arts Council on January 31st. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to create a small piece of artwork that will be displayed throughout the Keys. In May, we will disassemble the mosaic and each canvas is shipped to our eagerly awaiting collectors. For a $50 or $125 donation you too can join the Connections Project and receive one, or three of these masterpieces to start or add to your own collection.
