Anne McKee Artists Fund 2024 grant applications close March 31st

Grant applications for the Anne McKee Artists Fund close Sunday, March 31st at 5PM ET.

The Anne McKee Artists Fund awards grants up to $2000 for project-based work.  The grants are given to individual visual, performing, and literary artists who reside in Key West and the Florida Keys.

In addition, there are three youth-based scholarships, with categories for age 14 and over and 14 under youth, as well as the John McIntosh Student Grant for Artistic Advancement. 

this year, is an additional grant: the Joint Performance Grant co-sponsored by the McKee Artists Fund and the Tennessee Williams Theatre.  Sloppy Joe’s Foundation is the Premier Sponsor. 

The successful Joint Performance Grant applicant (or group) in the Performing Arts (e.g. music, film, dance, comedy, theater, etc.) will get the opportunity to stage their performance at the Tennessee Williams Theater Cabaret along with lighting and sound assistance, valued at $9,000.  They will also receive $5,000 in grant money to support the production.

NOTE: Performing artists may apply for either the $2000 AMAF grant or the new JOINT PERFORMANCE GRANT. All JOINT PERFORMANCE GRANT applications, if they are not chosen, will be reviewed for a standard AMAF grant – maximum $2000 award  

Grants are awarded at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors, after fair and careful consideration.  Grant funding is provided by proceeds from the Anne McKee Art Auction recently held in February.
