Anne McKee Artist Fund 2022 Grant-Apply March 2-31

The Anne McKee Artists Fund (AMAF) is proud to offer grant opportunities to individual visual, performing, and literary artists who reside in Key West and the Florida Keys. Grant funding is provided by proceeds from the Anne McKee Art Auction recently held in February. AMKF is grateful to all the contributing artists and generous art collectors who supported this year’s art auction. Without their support we could not continue the “Artist helping Artist” tradition now in its 27th year and which has given over $343,000 to almost 400 artists since 1994.

The AMAF was created to give project-based assistance to individual artists. Grants are awarded based on financial need and/or to support and promote recognition of emerging talent. Factors considered are a history of dedication and excellence in the applicant’s area of expertise and their commitment and involvement in the cultural community of Key West and the Florida Keys. Grants are awarded at the sole discretion of the AMAF Board of Directors, after fair and careful consideration.

The original Anne McKee Fund artist grant awards up to $2000 per artist for as many as 20 artists for project-based work.  In addition, there are three youth-based scholarships: with categories for age 14 and over and 14 under youth, as well as the John McIntosh Student Grant for Artistic Advancement.

Application and details with specific Q & A’s for interested applicants can be found on our website at McKeeFund.org or via email [email protected]  Deadline for submissions is March 31, 2022.
