An Evening of Song

Musician and author Hal Howland will sing an evening of original songs and rarely heard tunes by the Beatles, the Byrds, the Doors, Bob Dylan, Daniel Lanois, the Left Banke, Shawn Mullins, Paul Simon, Dusty Springfield, Steeleye Span, James Taylor, 10,000 Maniacs, and others on Thu., Feb. 9, at 8:30 p.m., at the Little Room Jazz Club & Wine Bar, 821 Duval St., Key West, 305-741-7515. Howland’s books and jazz CDs will be available for only $10 apiece (they cost more online). A splendid time is guaranteed for all! The Hal Howland Trio, featuring pianist Dom Carelli and guest bassist Joe Dallas, will return to the Little Room stage on Feb. 16.
